Prioritising education and easing the burden of school fees remains one of the most powerful investments in the future of our learners and the nation at large.

In a significant step toward this goal, today marked a major milestone under the leadership of Hon. David Ochieng, MDG Party Leader, as the first cohort of CBE learners transitioning to Grade 10 in C1 schools was officially awarded.

This achievement signals the continuation of a transformative education program that has, over the years, consistently uplifted learners and opened doors to brighter opportunities. The program is designed to ensure that financial limitations do not stand in the way of academic progress, especially at such a critical transition point in the learners’ educational journey.

In this first phase alone, 286 students benefited, a clear demonstration of strong commitment to inclusive, accessible, and quality education for every child. Beyond covering school-related costs, Hon. David Ochieng also donated learning materials worth over 8 million Kenya shillings, further strengthening the support provided to the students and their schools.

This initiative not only eases the financial burden on families but also reinforces the belief that education is a shared responsibility and a cornerstone for sustainable development. By investing in learners today, the program is nurturing future leaders, innovators, and citizens who will contribute meaningfully to society.

As this transformative education program continues, it stands as a powerful reminder that deliberate investment in education has lasting impact—one learner, one school, and one community at a time.
