Sending patients outside to go and buy surgical masks, medicines, surgical instruments and leaving the bleeding patients unattended is still horrifying me. It emphasized that any reports relating to shortages of staff, medicines, or essential medical supplies are treated with utmost seriousness.According to the department, a review will be initiated to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and identify any service delivery gaps. Appropriate corrective measures will be undertaken in line with existing standards and procedures governing public health facilities. Members of the public were also encouraged to share specific details through official communication channels to enable a comprehensive and objective assessment of the situation.
